At Premium Maine Coons, we aim to rehome the kittens in our care, however sometimes this is not possible due to temperament and health issues. In these circumstances, we offer them a lifelong home where they are loved and well cared for.

We also offer rescue backup for every adopted Maine Coon kitten. This means if you adopt a kitten from us and can no longer care for them, they must be returned to us in order for a suitable new home to be found.

We also aim to rehome Maine Coon kittens in pairs or to an existing group, therefore we will never recommend or adopt out single kittens to live on their own unless they cannot live with other cats. We will then only rehome these to an indoor environment as they will need more one to one attention and companionship from their human family.

At Premium Maine Coons, we microchip and spay/neuter our kittens before they go up for adoption. Sometimes spaying/neutering before adoption is not possible due to the kitten being too young, therefore our unaltered kittens will go with a spay/neuter agreement.

When adopting a Maine Coon kitten from us we will ask you to fill out an adoption form. We also ask for a minimum adoption fee of:

• $50 for a spayed female or neutered male kitten
• $60 per kitten when adopting more than one kitten from us
• $110 for a kitten with special medical or behavioral needs
• $45 for an unaltered kitten (we will cover 20% of spay/neuter costs when they are of age)

These adoption fees help towards the basic care of each kitten including spaying/neutering, microchipping, health checks, and food.
